Tournament Structure and Entry Mechanics
Each tournament on sobat55 has a defined entry window, a defined start time, and a defined end condition. When you open Tournament Mode in the app, you see a list of active and upcoming tournaments. Some run daily (short blackjack brackets with eight rounds of play), while others span weeks (a full Liga 1 season sportsbook tournament from August through May).
Entry is voluntary. When you select a tournament, the app shows the entry fee, the prize pool, the number of participants already registered, and the final settlement structure. If you choose to enter, you pay the entry fee directly from your sobat55 account balance. Your balance must be sufficient to cover the fee at the moment you confirm entry. We do not charge entry fees from upcoming withdrawals or credit lines.
Once entered, you cannot exit the tournament unless the tournament is cancelled by sobat55 (a rare occurrence, communicated at least seven days in advance). Your participation is binding from the start time through the end condition. If you do not participate — for example, you join a blackjack tournament but do not play any of the eight rounds — your score remains zero, and you finish last on the leaderboard. Entry fees are non-refundable regardless of participation.
Live-Dealer Tournament Rules
Live-dealer tournaments on sobat55 use a scoring system based on net wins or losses across the tournament rounds. When you join a blackjack tournament, for example, you receive a tournament-specific chip stack (separate from your account balance). You play blackjack hands using those chips across preset rounds. Each hand result adds or subtracts from your chip total. At the tournament end, your chip total is your final score, and leaderboard rankings are calculated from highest to lowest chip count.
The dealer and the table are the same as our regular live-casino offerings — the only difference is that your bets use tournament chips and your score is tracked on a shared leaderboard. If you are playing in Jakarta, Surabaya, or any other city, you compete against all other players in the same tournament bracket, regardless of location.
Betting limits during tournament play are set by the tournament rules and are often stricter than our regular cash tables. A tournament might specify minimum and maximum bets per hand so that a single lucky or unlucky hand cannot singlehandedly determine the final outcome. These limits are displayed before you enter and locked in when the tournament starts.
Tournament chip stacks are separate from account balance
When you enter a live-dealer tournament, we issue you a tournament-specific chip stack. Your account balance remains unchanged. If you win the tournament, prize money is added to your account balance as a payout, not as additional chips.

Tournament leaderboards are calculated automatically and updated in real time as tournament play progresses. If two players finish with identical scores, ties are broken by who achieved that score first; the player who reached the tied score earlier ranks higher.

Push notifications alert you to tournament starts, leaderboard changes (if you enter the top five), and prize payouts. You can customize notification settings in your account preferences, disabling all alerts except for prize-related notifications if you prefer minimal interruptions.
Seasonal Tournament Calendars and Holiday Coverage
Tournament availability follows sporting calendars and regional holidays. During Idul Fitri and Idul Adha, we typically reduce live-dealer tournament frequency but maintain sportsbook tournaments (if tournaments are scheduled to align with football fixtures).
